Yes, it's a Nunchuck because it is connected to the Wiimote by a cord. Remove the cord it can't be called a Nunchuck anymore. And like previously stated before, there's nothing wrong with cord on the current Nunchuck, so what's the point...

The onlyt reason I would get this is if I wanted another nunchuck, but even then, I dunno, I don't go throughing around my controler like other people.
