wow i think this is my first time posting on this side of the thread. but anyway. my friends birthday is today and i want to get him a game for ps3 maybe ps2. can i have suggestions from u guys of really good games? he likes all sorts of games so dont worry about what u say. actually, no sports or racing. thats the only ones i dont want. it would be a big help. thanks
you can get warhawk (without the headset) for only 39 bucks, and i've heard (and seen) that its a great game. if not, get COD4
I think Wenis is right with Warhawk, that is if you friend has high speed internet, which he probably does. I'd also recommend Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It's suppose to be a really good game, and where as it's fairly easy to pick up and play, finding all the hidden stuff is suppose to be a real challenge.
could go with the Devil May Cry 1-3 set. get him ready for the upcoming DMC4 game which looks to be a must have. DMC1 and 3 were awesome. 2 was lack-luster, but even at $15-20 for 1 and 3 each, it's worth it
Final Fantasy games make for good RPGs and are rather cheap anymore along with Star Ocean: 'Til the End of Time.
the ratchet and clank series would make for good action games
the way i see it, it'd probably be better to get 2-3 older games than 1 new one. they're still good games, could help him get into upcoming PS3 games (such as DMC4 or MGS4). that, and the classic PS2 games could be as little as $20 for a good game as opposed to $60 for a PS3 title.

you can get the newly released king of fighters XI for the PS2. i think it's only $20. if $60 is your limit, then also get him persona 3. i dont know how much it cost though.
