HAHA, that's sucks, it's currently 62F outside (was 78 yesterday, drove around all day with the top down, even after midnight last night! high today was 70)
Though Sunday it is suppose to drop to 45/27 (high/low).

and yeah, ice storms suck, but you got off easy. one year when i lived in missouri, the power was out for 4 straight days and happen to be right before thanksgiving, so we had to buy ice, pack all the food in coolers and take it to a family member's house an hour away. THAT sucked
The poer actually went out around 3 in the whole city today. I don't know why though. I wish it would know in SC. Only the tip of upstate gets that. It did snow one time when I was in 7th grade and the teachers actually let us go outside. It was nice, Iuff the cold. Today it was 80 degrees wtf...

normally we lose power every time someone farts in the right direction, but even though schools were closed for 3 days, and we got a ton of ice, we didn't lose juice, and didn't have to use the generator.

something i started to realize, why is no one used to snow anymore except alaska. in missouri, we got snow almost every year and people still freaked out over it. i hear the same thing about people in Michigan or Wisconsin or where ever. people would go absolutely insane in phoenix if it snowed. they still flip out over rain -_-
if there is ONE flurry in NYC the whole tristate area goes bizerk! im talkin panic attacks at the super markets, people RUSHING home faster than usual thinkin "oh i got a friggen SUV! lets see if those bastards can do 90!" and then they spin out
then you get the traffic of the "lookie loos" who want to see the "accident" and that 40 min back up was already cleared and the tow is just being waited on!
then people think OMG ANOTHER ACCIDENT! and then BAM! they get into one themselves
