i can say that now without feeling like poo! im a jets fan....im glad theres no more pennington. clemens did alright in my book but damn....whats with the field goal kicks? oh thats right we have no offense! so lets not make the touch down, get a 3 pointer and that will be our "lead". then we do alright for the 1st and 2nd half with decent plays....then halftime arrives and we die every god damn time!

I'm a football (not soccer) fan but being in a different time zone makes it hard for me to watch the games. I miss watching it live though. My team sucks this year as well... T_T
I more watch college football than NFL, because (as my dad put it)
When you're watching college football, you're watching kids play for the love of the game.
When you're watching NFL, you're watching "professional" athletes on steroids.

i dont like college football except for army VS navy games. when i lived in TN briefly, everyone was BIG into college football. i saw the jets play the titans and youd figure tickets would be hard to come by right? WRONG! they were just "GIVING" them away

They were giving away tickets in TN because the Titans aren't "established" like teams that have been around longer.
Everyone here is really really big into College Football (we are the home of the SEC!) Nobody is used to going to professional level games, and the rivalries are not set. Go to any decent SEC game and it will be packed, including any area near the outside of the stadium.
I haven't been watching this season because my team... the Dolphins, are not doing so well. And don't make fun of Eli, he is from Ole Miss and did great things here!

Its cool up here where there is no NFL team anywhere nearby because there are still a ton of NFL fans and everyone has a different team. For me, I'm a Packers and Broncos fan. I used to be a Falcons fan but I totally bailed out of that gongshow, and as a kid I liked the 49ers but they haven't given much to cheer about for a while.
And I agree with JM the Pats are getting on my nerves also. I wonder what the spread will be for the Pats-Dolphins game...

i'm more of a college football fan. specifically a psu fan. go nittany lions!
but when it comes to the nfl, i'm a steelers fan. if only they would play more consistently. they have just as good of a personal group and more depth than the pats or colts, they just don't have their traditional style of running game. willie parker is leading the league in rushing, but he can't eat up clock (he's just as likely to run for 50 yds on 20 carries or 100 yds on 3 carries).
