His dad did the right thing in pushnishing him. Doing any type of drugs isn;t something a parent or friend should encourage. Now his son will learn a esson from this.

yeah if this was my dad who saw me smoking pot i think he would of beat the piss out of me infront of all my friends instead of putting a simple video game on an auction site.

then again times were different when i was 15 and there was no ebay just stricter parenting so ill use a scenario where if i saw my kid smokin pot i think id do what my dad WOULD of done to me which would be a public beat down.

then again i was a good kid and never did drugs which explains why im on the right side of the law

Granted, I don't think parents should ENCOURAGE drug use, but I think kids should be PROPERLY educated about them. Face it folks, if you smoke pot, you aren't some automatic failure and you aren't gonna go on a shooting spree. Your biggest risks are probably eating too many snacks and falling asleep on the couch. And GETTING CAUGHT for a VICTIMLESS CRIME.

How is smoking pot or doing any other "illicit" drug any different from having a few drinks?... I smell an OT thread

Thank you!! I am not going to delve into the subject with all these people who are, let's face it, uneducated on the current subject at hand. However, I will say that those who vindicate such use are just plain immature and unknowledgeable. Get your facts straight, people. Ignorance spreads ignorance.

And those who say their parents would BEAT them for smoking an unharmful substance as marijuana...I feel sorry for you! I guess I am the lucky one with the cooler parents.

drugs ae drugs are drugs plain and simple to a parent- i dont find weed to be a problem nor do i find drinking to be a problem when youre underaged but if you get caught youre in trouble! you cant possibly tell me that youre paernts are perfectly fine with the fact that you do things underaged are they? otherwise whats the point of going to a friends house not to get caught if they were fine with it?

this all boils down to how your kid is. if your child is problematic and does drugs then yeah he needs a beat down. if hes a straight A student involved with the wrong crowed then he needs a lecture

Lol, my friend Josh drinks and does pot, but the only thing he grets for christmas is a bunch of money, so I think he's happy
