NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams: The long awaited sequel to the Sega Saturn classic arrives this Tuesday as Wii's solo release of the week. This adventure takes place in Nightopia and your goal is to confront Nightmares that are reeking havoc. Experience the feeling of gliding and spiraling through mystifying worlds where dreams coe to life using the Wiimote. The My Dream feature in Journey of Dreams uses the Wii Forecast channel to add climate changes into the game. NiGHTS also allows you to challenge a friend or a random opponent in Duel mode via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Judging by the lack of replies I assume that no one cares for NiGHTS?
I don't care for this too much; However, IMO, for the My Dream feature to work better, they need to update the Forecast Channel WAY more often. Right now, at 4:45 PM, the latest update was this morning at 7 AM. It was drizzling then, but it's sunny right now. Other than that, I may pick this up depending on how much spare cash I've got.
Lol I didnt post here since I didnt care for NiGHTS.
Pinny was excited about the game, but PAL doesn''t get until next month. And I assue there would be small update when put the game in, but once more games use the Forecast channel, Nintendo should put out an update for it.

I certainly don't, and I'm baffled why anyone would be.

Because the original was apparently great and while that doesn't guarantee that this one will be just as good I figured fans of the original might be more than a little excited for it.

I myself never played NiGHTS Into Dreams and don't really plan on playing this one unless it's a rent.
Well I have never played the original, I am intriuged about this game. Fans tell me that the original was great so i guess if they keep the same gameplay then it will do just as good right? Well im gonna rent it. Then if I like it ill buy it later.
Like many others, never played the other so this one is something I find hard to get excited over.
I'm interested... not jumping out of my seat, but interested...

Also, the My Dream feature sounds cool--i hope something similar starts being implemented in other games
I'll pick this up on the weekend. I enjoyed the original one enough so I should give this one a try as well. I have my doubts of how it will play on the Wii. I'm almost sure they'll screw this game up with too much dependency on using wacky wiimote controls. I'm sorry but I DON'T want to have to shake my Wiimote up to jump. That's just annoying and the reason I didn't play past one stage in the Sonic game. Yes, I know flying will be the means of transportation but just saying.
I saw the commercial on tv and in it was the score from Nintendo Power (9/10), so the game must be somewhat good. But looking at the commercial and videos, I can't help but think what's the point. It just serms like your're flying around in loops and transforming with no real purpose....
I am now officially interested enough to rent it when I get some free time.
