Looks like that Kirby game they were planning on porting to Wii is now completly dead. The thing that annoyed me in this quote is " we choose those that will provide the best entertainment value to the most people". This makes me think, Nintendo know that Kirby won't sell aswell as a casual game like Wiifit or something so lets just cancel it?
I actually think Kirby can apeal to anyone. He's a cute pink puffball and his games are always fun, even though they may be the easiest of all Nintendo franchises. They've added multiplayer in Kirby before, so more people can join. I'm sure there will be another Kirby game in the future. As for limited number of Nuntendo titles per year, so far for 08 we have Endless Ocean, SSBB, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, and possibly Disaster: Day of Crisis. This year we got Wario Ware, Mario Party 8, Super Paper Maro, Strikers Charged, PBR, Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, BWii, DK Jet Race/Bongo Blast,SMG, & MP3. So Nintendo should have some surprises for 08.

Well HAL Las is in Japan, but it doesn't make sense. The majority of Kirby games came out in all markets (some with different names), why would this one be any different.

Because Kirby is made by Sakurai, who is working on Smash Bros. Brawl at the moment.

Im not sure we are going to see this game anytime in 2008. Looks like Sakura will be finished with this game early or mid 2009, but hey it could be near completion and I could be wrong. Thats if this game ever gets to see the light of day.

I don't know how long it takes to makes games, but I wouldn't imagine a Kirby game would take that long. Idk maybe it would.
