Blade Runner: Ultimate Collector's Edition
Visually spectacular, action-packed and enduringly provocative since its original 1982 release, the stylish noir thriller Blade Runner stars Harrison Ford in the enigmatic role of 21st-century detective Rick Deckard. The Ultimate Collector's Edition is packaged in a limited edition, numbered "Deckard" briefcase and features rare and collectable memorabilia such as a Spinner car replica, Unicorn figurine, Illustration and Photo cards, and a lenticular Motion Film Clip in lucite. When I saw this set was 5 disc I was shocked, but even more interesting was that each of the 5 disc are apparently 50gb. I know a lot of people have probably seen this movie and see in redone about half a dozen times, but I myself am really interested in this new set. There's also a basic package that only comes with the 5 disc and is less money.

never saw the movie, but people talk about it all the time. is it really that good?
but OMG at this collection. why would you need EVERY redone version? i could see first and last, but not every step in between
I have a previous version of the movie and yes it's cool. Admittedly it runs a little slow in parts, but it deals with some deep issues and the visuals are really quite stunning. If I was going to buy this Blu Ray edition I'd probably not get the case and all and stick with the cheaper/more basic 5 disc set that comes in basic packaging, but for a fan, the case and extras is really quite cool.
agreed. cheap version sounds good if it's decently priced
if it's still $60 for the movie then no. i'll look for the single discs somewhere
You can actually download Blade Runner - The Director's Cut (Remastered Limited Edition) from Amazon for $2.99

Want.
Alas, I must wait until Sony realises that Europeans liked their PS2 games.
you can also buy this on HD-DVD d4rk.

Fun times!
Do you know if you get the cool briefcase too?
Both the Blu Ray and HD-DVD version can come with the briefcase and more goods if your willing to pay for them. Do a quick search on Amazon and you should find the HD-DVD version.
You can be damn sure I'm getting this when a PS3 falls in my lap.
Amazon.com =/= Amazon.co.uk
I'll have to wait and see.
So there are
five versions? I only saw
2 of em.
The first one that everyone saw at the movie theatre, the second one with the unicorn and the "Director's cut" at the end of the film where Deckard knows that he is a replicant.
What's in the other 3?
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR, thanks for the info.
