I suppose there is one advantage you could have if you got a birthday right next to christmas. Say if you wanted something real bad and you couldn't afford it with just your birthday money, combine it with christmas money aswell.

But apart from that...

Yeah like last year my friend got a bike he never rode.... or assembled for that matter. He also got a stereo for his iPod that he doesn't use and a few other things. He's an only child...
