yes that is something i would consider too but like cloud mentioned- its a PSP that closes. thats why so many people are like OOOOOOOOOOO lol that was the first thing that poped into my mind

I've never liked the looks of the ipod touch so that means i hate this one mock up as well.
I agree with Dume, it does look like a Dual Screen iPod Touch. It looks very nice to me and I'd probably get it.
I put the the protector case on and it well protects really well I pitch it on the floor no it doesn't go flying but it normally in the front pocket and i pitch it from quite a distance and still works fine i check it more often now tho so.... the new one would be flimsy plus u couldn't buy a protection case for it........BOOM

These do look pretty cool, but the first one looks really chunky and the second one does look like the i-pod Touch which I also don't like. I'm happy with the DS Lite I have now, as long as I can play my games on it.
Looking as DS sales, when do you think they'll release the next DS?
I'm not sure, but to be honest I really don't see the point of bringing a new one out yet. I don't see the point of new DS's because they only change the way it looks, whereas when they step up another console, for example Xbox to Xbox 360, they improve HUGELY on the graphics and everything. But the new DS's just seem to be about it's appearance which I think is pointless. I like the way the DS looks now.

I can't actually remember, the DS Lite came out not that much longer after the phat one did it? I still think there is no need to make a new one, not yet anyway.
I think it was 2 years. DS Lite came out jun 2006, and with the game Game Boy, a new desigh came out every other year, but I don't think they'll release a new one this year.
i think youre right FELX but the new DS lite is kinda fail proof right now with little to no flaws. sure there are always ways to improve it as nintendo has been doing with the remakes but each time theyve been extremly different from the other. i mean GBA looks nothing like the DSphat and the DSphat really doesnt look much like the lite except for the "initial concept" of being "thinner"
if they were to make this new DS say.....this year? you think people would consider and/or buy it? i mean i just got my DS on friggen thanksgiving man! lol
