Ok, I was playing Forza Motor Sport2 and when im in a game lobby there is total confusion on the Headset situation, Ive NEVER heard anything out of the headset, ive heard voices coming from the TV but only on rare occasions when im messing with the mute button. I have no idea what im doing. help?
-I dont know if people can hear me
-I cant hear ANYTHING out of the headset, only on the TV from time to time
-When i Do hear things on thru the TV the voices are totally messed up

Try turning the volume up on the headset and make the mute button isn't switched on. Actually, it depends which headset you have bought...My headset works great.

Well thats kind of obvious, unless your stupid enough to forget. Why don't you try your headset with a different game and see if anything changes. Maybe people just don't talk much on Forza.
try this:
while in the dashboard, hit the dashboard button again and go to "personal settings". then go to "voice" and make sure 'play through headset' is checked marked.
People just don't wanna talk to you thats all... They think you smell funny..
In all seriousness check the volume control on the mic and check the settings as someone above me said..
