Wow, I thought most people would be using a microphone. Aren't most mics compatible with the PS3 unlike 360? You would expect more people to be chatting away. Since I have had live, it feels weird going into an online game and not hearing people talk. Even if 50% of the time im getting insulted. Wink Heck its fun!

Often times it has me laughing, actually. Although the 3 year olds can sometimes get irriating when they attempt to talk strategy, but most of the time, like Big Team Battle on H3, it's so funny.

The problem is that the PS3 doesn't ship with a Mic, and only Bluetooth headsets are compatible. Sure, many people have them on their phones, but almost EVERYONE buys the Premium or Elite, and gets the headset there for the X360. Bluetooth headsets are around $50 for a decent one, and not beneficial for many unless they get the one solid online game the PS3 has (Warhawk), in which case, it comes with one. I like that Sony gives the headsets with that game, but I don't want to keep getting a headset every time I buy the Blu-ray disc version. The same cost as the PSN download should be available as a BD without a headset as well. (I don't like the digitally downloaded full game idea).

Maybe they should of packaged in a headset with the PS3, but on the other hand it costs ALOT already so...

i played ~~halo~~ melee battle 3 on friday, and it's just as terrible as i remember it. you really dont need a mic to play that game, and theres still so much trash talking during the pre and post-match lobby, it's ridiculous.

to defend the ps3 camp a bit, i got booted from almost every burnout: paradise demo game, online, because i didnt have a mic. so yeah, seems like theres a lot more people with them nowadays.

Playing halo 3 then going to COD feels so weird, and I can't get used to it. lol

Probably, because anyone who's playing PSN online got Warhawk, which is a great game (I bought Battalion Wars II to compensate)..

In the past month or so the number of returned 360s we've had due to RRoD had decreased dramatically (We've had mark 2 chipsets since september and mark 3 since end of november) Seriously we get more PS3s with the bad fan issue.

Yes, it decreased dramatically. Reliability issues will always hover over the 360 brand. They are doing a lot to prevent but getting rid of that reputation...

Cloud, isn't the fact of the matter problems and unreliability?

360 has reliability issues. PS3 has good game issues. Wii has casual gamer issues.

All the brands have their problems. Its just a matter of picking which ones suit you.

If I get a 360 and Warranty, its awesome lol.
