The Wii's library looks a little thin for 2008, but there is definitely some potential. Which game are you looking most forward to? (Not all games officially dated for 2008, but are more than likely).

I'll be surprised if Super Smash Bros. Brawl doesn't win this. Its the best game of this year already.

There really isn't a way for Brawl to lose the title of "most wanted" of 2008 (not best, though, because that might not be true. :p), due to the reputation that Smash 64 and Melee have built.
Though I fear it won't live up to its expectations. :/

So far looking like a flawless victory.

It will be most wanted and most likely the best Wii game of 08. Mario Kart can't touch it.

I'm personally looking forward to Mario Kart. It's one of the VERY few games if not the ONLY game where when I enter multiplayer against even a novice I actually wonder if I'm gonna win.

That's because of the unpredictable items. Its not so much a game of skill.

I dunno, the items in Mario Kart are pretty predictable--when's the last time the person in first got a lightning bolt?

Anyway, Brawl, of course!

brawl will definitely win this, but i'm guessing that no more heroes will be the best of these games quality wise.

No More Heroes better quality than Brawl? I doubt that. I hope you have your hat ready. Because its going to be your main course.

Yeah I know, but sometimes I like playing a game and actually trying hard to win. When it comes to games with skill the person with more of it is obviously going to win, but Mario Kart is simple and fun.

Smash can be simple and fun if you want it to be. But it just has the advantage being able to be played seriously as well. So it does what Mario Kart does and more.

Brawl hands down for me, followed by a not too distant Mario Kart Wii. I'm also interested in the other games on the list but I've been waiting for Brawl before it was even announced.

Kart for me

For me it's either Star Wars the Force Unleashed (depending on how much time is put into it) or Wii Fit. I pretty much know what I'm getting with the other two, and therefore don't have much anticipation (despite both being 95% sure must buys). I voted Wii Fit after years of disappointing star wars games.
