NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams has by no means been a smash hit and critics have been pretty divided on the game with scores as low as 5.8 and as high as 9. Regardless, Journey of Dreams director Takashi Iizuka already has his mind on another sequel to the cult franchise and he already has a specific console in mind.

"When we decided to finally make a sequel to NiGHTS, we didn’t know which console it would be for," Iizuka told German site G-Wie-Gorilla. "We only decided later on that we would develop the game for the Wii. But I think it was a good choice – should we make another installment, we would make it for the Wii."

Should another game be created it would no doubt be a step up from NiGHTS' first attempt at motion sensing and SEGA should by now certainly have enough experience with Wii, considering they have 19 titles either released or in development for the console.

I think Sega should have taken a lot more time to make the reintroduction of Nights something special. I'm not sure how many people have played it, but from someone who owned the original Nights for the Sega Saturn, the Wii version is a huge disappointment.

Even if Sega comes out with another Nights game for the Wii, I won't touch it considering the abomination this latest one is (IMO).
GFT makes a good point. From everything I've read about the game it's sounds like it's not that great.

Unless Sega makes a better effort with the next game I doubt it'll get much love...
i was discussing this in another thread, about a new Nights on the wii, and i came to the conclusion that this series may be reaching an end, if the next one is a blow hard dissapointment, we may see the last of it.
