I've gotta agree with you, Snake--I've lost confidence in Nintendo, and buying a 360 has def been one of the best gaming decisions I've made in a long while

For me its the same, but I'll be getting a PS3.

Same, I want a PS3, then i'll be happy, if I wanna play the 360, i'll just go to my friends house across the street from me.

Same for buying 360 has been great to me except Live, which is acting up a lot. Anyways, I'll buy a PS3 in a year or two when there are actually GAMES and exclusives like MGS4.

I'm pretty excited: My fiance really wants Little Big Planet, so we'll probably be getting a PS3 some time around it's release

I think I'm the only one here who disagrees w/ what was stated in this thread to begin with. I don't think that Nintendo has sold out to the so called "casual gamer". Who can just go out & buy w/e or their Nintendo entertainment center There ARE 3rd party games for the Wii system you just have to know where to look for them.

There is going to be an exclusive release of a Dragon Quest game for the Wii by SquareEix, another Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals game, & from some of the research I have done SquareEnix is also looking at the Wii for a Kingdom Hearts title to put on it. I haven't counted the Wii out at all. If anything I think every one is just b*tchy that Nintendo isn't doing exactly what they want them to do which is to have hard game for them to play on. But I wonder have any of you played Fire Emblem on NORMAL mode? That game is HARD to beat on NORMAL & Hard is even more ridiculous. TRY finding out about the games that are out there & what are available before you tear a great system like the Nintendo Wii down, & yes I may sound like a fan girl But I also plan to buy a PS3 [b]not]/b] for the "hard core factor" but because I am a true SquareEnix & gaming fan.

But all of you sound like you are adults! Aren't we all just supposed to be having fun playing our video games?! Come on! This is getting ridiculous if you ask for every little thing that you want Nintendo to do for you PERSONALLY as a gamer. It's not like they're going to up & call very Nintendo Wii owner & have a Wii to fit everyone's specifications for how hard they want games to be for when they play on them. *sighs* In other words: No gaming company is perfect. Not even Sony or Microsoft is.

Do you expect us to just sit in silence because we don't like whats happening? No. I for one refuse to sit and be quiet and pretend everything Nintendo is doing is perfect. Yes we all are supposed to be having fun, but when not all of us are being satisfied by the current line-up. There is bound to be complaints. You also point out 3 third-party titles, well lets make it two because from what I have seen from Dragon Quest. That game is pretty damn average, not to mention simple. Also Kingdom Hearts is just a possibility, no-one has announced that its coming to Wii. Lastly Final Fantasy CC is just some spin-off, I want the real deal!

Maybe your expectations are either too low, or mine are too high. Im just not happy with Nintendo's decision to ditch the Hardcore Crowd and all casual. Yes it was a great business move, but it leaves us hardcore players feeling quite left out.

Well if all you want is hard core games then maybe all hard core gamers should just band together & place a ban on the Nintendo Wii outright. You want changes fine then don't buy the flipping system Duh.

I owned the "flipping system" for over a year! Expecting some great games to keep me satisfied! I bought the system thinking I would be playing Brawl atleast by the end of last year! I bought the system not knowing that almost every damn company will try and give us party and casual crap. I also had high expectations from third-party developers, the only outstanding third-party games I can see is RE4, Guitar Hero and No more Heroes. But hey two of them are multi-platform. So usually if a multi-platform game tends to come to Wii, its usually inferior due to bad controls.

I agree. It seems all multiplats on Wii are usually PS2/PSP codebase, or inferior versions of 360/Ps3 games.

Just incase you was wondering, I did do something about it. I bought a 360, does that take away my right to "bit*h"?

I mean take action. You want more hard core games from Nintendo correct? Than ask all of the gamers here who want hard core games to place a ban on the Nintendo Wii ask that those who already own one sell it on Ebay or trade it in for a PS3 or XBox 360. Tell gamers to spread the word world wide to not buy a Wii if you are a true hard core gamer. Cause if no hard core gamers buy the Wii & all the ones that were sold to hard core games are taken back to the stores or are traded in for other systems then Nintendo will be left to sell to the Casual gamer. Keep spreading the word to every one, telling them that if they are a real gamer then they need to chuck the Wii & get a gaming system of the hard core gamers choice. Take a stand right in Nintendo's pocket. Once all Nintendo has is the casual gamer then they'll be screwed, cause it's the hard core ones who'll have shut them down in the end. When I say do something about it, I mean it. Do something. Make Nintendo see their stupidity. Hit them in their pocket book where it hurts. ^^

Ok seriously, that is the dumbest thing I have EVER heard. The hardcore crowd is a small percentage in comparison with the casual gamers. You really think that just because im not happy, that I should run around telling people to sell their Wii?! Hell no! If people are happy with their system then good for them, but im not going to try and convince people to not like the Wii. Thats just sad and a complete waste of my time.

Iam not a mod, im far from it. I have been a Nintendo fanboy since...ever. The only other systems I owned that weren't Nintendo ones is the PS2. Technically that thing wasn't even mine.

So calling me a fanboy because I chose an alternative system is just rediculous. Yes, and I will continue to enjoy my gaming...

This whole thread is turning me against Nintendo, and I don't know how to feel about that...
