gosh, i have no idea what to belive, is phantom hour glass good or bad?

i hear so many mixed opinion from people who have played it, it seems like the biggest complaint is the controls.

as for contra 4, i played it, and its a great old school style game, it deserves to be up there in the top 5

Contra 4 is my top game.  

LoZ: PH was good (great?), but it's not in my top 5 games in the series.  The controls were frustrating at first imo, but after a few hours I had no problems with them.  It actually became kinda nice to be able to play such a complex game using only 1 main input.  Not saying I prefer these controls over classic controls, but it didn't turn me off of the game.  It was my second favorite DS game of '07.

Brain Age 2 was probably 3rd.

Diamond/Pearl was all exciting at first, but now it's meh.
Phantom Hourglass I'm still playing. Reminds me of Twilight Princess, where you collect 3 important items, and then go collect 3 more important items. But overall okay game. Controls were okay.

Idk DS wasn't too hot this year imo.

Overall decent year for DS, still got a good future.

I want a new metroid game for ds and a new mario. But it was a great year for the ds.

this list kinda sucks man......there are so many better games. i dont disagree with number one though- LOZ was pretty good

Ouendan is the Japanese version of what America calls "Elite Beat Agents."

This is the second game that came out.

And its full name is Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (wiki). Love those jap names!
It's a great game actually, but it's pretty much the same as the first one. It deserves to be in the top 5, though I wonder about that 2nd place...

elite beat agents is awesome. thats a really fun game

Yea, once you beat the story part of D/P, it gets boring, you can do contest, battle tower, collect pokemon, and wi-fi battle, but that's pretty much it, I just wanna play something more exciting than that.
