they've announced that SSBB can be played with the GC controller, and that got me thinking waht other games can or could be played with this concept. i myself was thinking of racing games like mario kart and f-zero b/c those games require 5 or 6 buttons but there are only 4 buttons on hw wii-mote.(A, B, 1, & 2) maybe i'm wrong, what do you think?
This'd be great if it's true. If you could drop us a source that'd really help with it's validity. But again if true it's great since I've got 2 controllers.

There is a trigger button too
still, games like mario kart i would rather play with gc controllers...

i can't find one but its been said in articles by ign that you can use the gc controller to play ssbb
Cool. And like Echo said, I'd rather play Mario Kart with a GC controller.
I don't know... Mario Kart with a Wii controller sounds interesting. It's like using a steering wheel.
no. Too many varying things in mario kart to do like that, though it would be cool to like gesture backwards and therefore throw the item backwards
Varying things? What do you mean?
like throwing items, sliding, boosting at start, stealing items from other players, etc, there maybe enough buttons but it masy be akward to reach them every time...
True. In that case then they might just go ahead with the nunchuck style of gameplay. I wouldn't rule the remote out yet though...
yeah - its always a possibility, and if excuted correctly by nintendo would create an extrodinary new mario kart game...
I think a game that's going to need the GC controller is Fire Emblem. There's just no way I see it being necessary to use a remote.
I wonder if u can use it For TP if u get tired of the wiimote
TP as in Twilight Princess?
Maybe, maybe not, cause the classic/GC controller can't emulate any of the tilting/motioning technology.
I also wonder that... Is it possible to get the same sort of gameplay from a regular controller? Probably not on some games, but is it possible?
same sort of gameplay?
what do you mean motion sensing? no

it seems like the gc is dead but a part of it will still live on, cause it seems that the wii-mote doesnt have enough buttons and i wouldnt want to play mario kart or f-zero with nunchuck style.
