I found out about this product by reading an opinion article by

wow, that is a pretty piece of equipment...guess it wont be long before we are all burning blurays huh? that should make blank DVD-Rs about a penny a piece

Now that would be nice. I've been waiting for dual layer dvd prices to drop since the days of Moses. Maybe as you expressed drew, with products like this, that may happen in the not too distant future.
They already have blu ray burners. The blank discs are like $20 a piece.
yeah i know but they are price prohibitive right now, like you said and not many people are upgrading
Why on earth would you want an HD-DVD player now?
Warner's gone
Paramount's gone
Universal is talking of going.
There's nothing left!

I figured because of this comment that you probably owned an HD DVD player and had movies for it.
aww balls.
Well it looks like I'll have to shell out on a hybrid player -_-
Well I bought the HD-DVD attatchment for the 360 and I'm using it on the PC, (after all it was only about £80 for me)
So I've got a couple of movies, but now there is practically nothing left...
So at this current point in time I'm not going to stick with a dead format, even if it does mean I've wasted £100 odd quid.
Oh well, I guess it doesn't stop the HD-DVD version of the matrix being any less immense audio wise :3

You can do that? Not bad
Yeah the drivers were available on the Toshiba website
Then you just need an up-to-date version of a commercial DVD Player.
Nice job. Is it officially supported by Windows XP, or was what you did a slight hack?

oh i would probably get a hybrid to hedge my bets
