I am all for a little off topic... but Spongebob timeline? I draw the line there mainly on the basis that Spongebob is a stupid show... and discussing a timeline for it makes me cringe.
At least Zelda is awesome and discussing a timeline for it is interesting.

This is about a video game that has a plausible storyline that we are discussing, and has (possibly) been stated by the creator to have (somewhat) of one.

Timeline discussions with Zelda really irritate me. From all I've read from Miyamoto himself, you're not really meant to put it in a "timeline". Link is a character that reincarnates as time goes on, as explained partially in WW. (As we all know, the WW Link is not the OoT Link and so on and so forth) I read a GREAT timeline back on a OoT (possibly MM, though, cant remember which) walkthrough, as supplemented with words right out of Miyamoto's mouth, but of course, it would have to be updated now.
