"Wireless Nunchuck is the best at CES"

.
There seemed to be a lot of mixed reactions when we posted about the Nyko Wireless Nunchuck. Responses were divided between excitement, cynicism, and "huh?" CNET is a fan of the product, though, as the website recently titled it as the "Best of CES" in the gaming category.

We wouldn't recommend placing too much stock in this CES decision. We're not saying that the Wireless Nunchuck is bad or useless, but CES's impressions of the product made it sound like a decent accessory rather than a must-have item. It makes us wonder if CNET made this choice based on a round of drunken roshambo (which is how we make all our decisions here at Nintendo Wii Fanboy).

If CNET is right, though, we can't say we're disappointed about having missed CES this year.

Looks like the Wireless Nunchuck that is being developed by Nyko is sure to be a great success. Who plans on buying this?

This is pretty cool and it actually completes the idea that the Wii is a wireless gaming system. Does the nunchuck use batteries or will it be recharable?
As far as my knowledge goes, it will take batteries. I will take a look around just incase.
WTF do i do with my gawd dam wired nunchucks??? **** **** ****

Sell them to someone cheaply, or trade them in?

I think this is really good. The only thing I dislike about it is that it takes batteries.

(that's if it does take batteries).
Just buy rechargeables and stop whining. They're like a battery pack but you can actually use them in other things. *gasp*

And the wireless Nunchuk is what I've already wanted. I hate the heavy, cumbersome cord when I'm boxing or playing that tank mini-game on WiiPlay (or rolling my eyes while trying to enjoy Ultimate Alliance knowing it's so much better on the 360).
I hate the cord as well, especially for games that it seems to move a lot such as Mario and Sonic at the Olympics and Rayman games.

The Nunchuck runs on two AAA batteries, which Nyko claims can provide up to 30 hours of gameplay.

Who was whining? She was stating that she dis-liked the fact that it used batteries, hardly whining...

i need to buy stock in duracell
I need to buy more rechargeable batteries if I plan on getting this when it comes out. I used to have quite a stockpile of them but one for this and two for that and eventually they all tend to disappear...
I don't think I will buy it, maybe for my thrid wii remote. But I don't like the power button, blue light, and the nyko symbol on it. That makes it look kinda ugly.
I would buy it..if I had money too spend.
i think ill buy me one if i scrape up the cash:XD:
Yay lets spend more money on more batteries...the Nyko charger was enough money. Damn these giant corporations.

I am content with a wired nunchuk.
I wasn't too sure about the wireless nunchuk at first but now I really like it. I'm guessing it's going to be pricey though. I'll manage to get the money from somewhere. Smile
i wont be buyiong this.

im not out to spend money just for a little extra comfort

I agree, but you would benefit with it for games such as boxing etc. I'm only going to buy it if I have a job when it is released.

i have played wii sports in months, so i wont benefit from this thing one bit

but that doesnt appli for all gamers, so will pay for comfort
