I can not blame him for making a profit, this is america things like that happen. he didn't force people to buy over priced systems and cell phones, they did it themselves.

is it immoral, yes. thos epeople couldve just waited until re stock filled in. Me. Ive never sold intentionally sold to a reseller while at GS. If a guy wanted a PS3 or a Wii, he would just have to get in line and be lucky just like the rest of the people.
If he wants to sell things for more moeny than he payed for them to make a profit then it's fine by me. This happens all the time and it's not like it is a con is it?

Exactly, they are paying for the "service" as Joker said. If they don't want to pay more than its worth then they should get off their ass and get looking for a Wii.

i remember at launch all these stories about "my mom wont take me" "my parents wont let me camp out" etc.

so those people are just out of luck i guess because of this guy and those of his ilk
FYI Nintendo isn't intentionally keeping supplies scarce. As of the last report, they are manufacturing 2 million Wii's per month. For a better perspective, that's means they make about 50 PER MINUTE, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Let's not forget they are building almost twice that in DS's as well.

As another comparison, Japan was formerly a Sony stronghold, and yet, since LAUNCH, they have not sold 2 million PS3's there.

Blame the shortage on the outrageously high demand. The Wii is fastest selling console to date. PS2's, the former fast sellers, were notoriously difficult to find for a long time, too. I'll also point out that from Spring 07 to a few weeks before Thanksgiving 07, Wii's could be found in almost every store around here. Once the holiday season came, they disappeared.
i had heard they were expanding production but never heard if that happened

it amazes me the demand for this machine over a year after launch, is there a precedent for this even with the PS2, i dont remember them being in short supply at all

maybe the atari 2600
