How will what be done?

He'll be alive, I mean at the end of OOT Ganon copped a sword in the head and Ganondorf got sealed away... then came back. So rest assured Ganon will return, as for how I'm not entirely sure. I like the idea of removing the sword from Ganondorf's stone head but maybe don't have anything happen until Link leaves and then have him being unsealed or something... I think they'd want to try and surprise the gamer even though we know in our hearts he is coming back.

You're right... Didn't Link yet again stick the Master Sword in his head on Wind Waker? But that time, he turned into a stone statue under a preserved, ancient city 20,000 feet below sea level.

But it has been confirmed that Ganon(dorf) will be in TP. Exactly what role he will play is unknown.

Wouldn't it really be a twist on the storyline if Ganon finally realises that this brat will always beat the crap out of him every time he tries to destroy/take over the world, no matter how kiddy and cell-shaded, 16 bitted, or realistic he looks? Cause then he'd either give up, find a nice condo and live with a cat named Sniffles, or join the good side.

I was talking about milkman's timeline post.

ganondorf will survive that... hes not dead whatever you say.
Oh sorry... I forgot. Hold on...

A number of rumors about the game were confirmed at E? 2005. The official title, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was announced. (The title was actually first revealed in a pre-E? scan from Game Informer.[4][5]) It was explained that Link would transform into a wolf when entering the “Twilight Realm”, a mysterious void that has ensnared Hyrule.[6]

It was confirmed that the game falls chronologically “decades after Ocarina of Time,” but a long time before The Wind Waker, and that “the hero in the adventure is an all-new Link”.[7] Interviews and a playable demo exposed many new details, such as Link beginning the game as a sort of shepherd or ranch hand, Link battling on horseback, changes in the horse controls from OoT, thematic differences between dungeons, and so on.[8] Live feeds of this demo have also been published.

In recent interviews in Nintendo Power, Electronic Gaming Monthly, and the Spanish magazine Hobby Consolas, director Eiji Aonuma revealed that Princess Zelda and Ganon will be returning.[9] What their roles are is unknown, but the new character art shows Princess Zelda with a thin rapier-like sword, leading many fans to theorize that she will fight at some point, or at the very least defend herself. Nintendo has not been forthcoming as to whether or not the Master Sword will be featured in the game, but recently released official artwork seems to suggest it. Many even speculate that Nintendo's new character who appears to Link in the Twilight, Midna, is even Zelda herself. [6]
In the March issue of Nintendo Power, developer Yoshiyuki Oyama is quoted as saying, “I know that everyone’s wondering what going on with Link’s old nemesis. All I can say now is, we’re preparing more than you could possibly ever, ever, ever, expect... and to stay tuned for more details.”[9]

Aonuma has also stated that the game will be much larger in size than The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and will have more dungeons than any of the other Zelda games.[10] Two of them, from the two E3 demo's, have shown us the Forest Temple and the Goron Mines and another two have been shown barely in 2 trailers. He revealed that Link can communicate with animals when in wolf form, but did not elaborate on this. When transformed into a wolf, Link’s senses (smell, sight, and hearing) will also be raised quite significantly.[11] With these abilities come some disadvantages. While he is a wolf, Link cannot use any of his items. Aonuma also confirmed that there will not be extensive voice acting in the game. However, characters will still grunt, laugh, scream, and make other such noises, just as they have in all LoZ games on the Nintendo 64 and Nintendo GameCube.[i]

I still think it's just a easy marketting scheme. Write one good story, keep remaking it on new systems, MAKE CASH.
much longer than oot i hope that means what i think it means - and not juust on field that takes 3 hours to run across every time...
The truth is, Gannon will truly never be dead. Along with each different hero named 'Link' that comes along.
Hmm... Putting TP before Wind Waker kinda conflicts stories a bit. Because in WW they said that after OoT there was a huge flood which is what caused Hyrule to become what it is in WW.
I guess the only way they could make it fit is if right after completeing the game, the flood would start.
well - it should fit very nicele into the storyline...
I don't think they would introduce the flood because in WW they said that when the evil came back no one was there to stop him and they had to pray to the gods and when they did that they flooded the place... <_<

So the only way to properly make this fit in the storyline is make Link lose or have him locked in the Twilight Realm, because if he wins then why wouldn't they mention him in the story?
Maybe. But then TP would be kind of anti-climactic if you're forced to lose. Nintendo might just have Link win in TP but then say that somewhere in between TP and WW that the flood happened.
But that would mean that when the legend said that evil returned and no one came they lied... Maybe Link could win in the end, and then as a result of winning he's trapped in the Twilight realm, and that when Ganon pops out.

Forgetting about the Phantom Hourglass?

Sorry, never played it. On to Wiki!

edit

Nervermind... It's not even out yet. But what about it? I haven't really been able to come up with a solution just from the plot, but it sounds like my idea doesn't mess with Phantom Hourglass.

Seems like that to me too since PH comes directly after Wind Waker. And since TP is put after OoT and before WW then PH should be a non-issue.

So if this is wind waker 2 why is it the prequel(that doesn't look right at all)?
He said PH comes directly after tWW.
yes but tp is apparently wind waker 2
