Do I have to have Wii points to add channels or can I just download them? Secondly anyone else having problems with the system update?

I'm afraid I can't help you with your first question (I am wanting to know that too because I am getting online very soon and I heard that you have to pay to get it now). But I've not been having any problems with the wii system update.

Well for your first question, it only costs to download one of the current channels. Which would be the Internet channel, I think it costs around 800 points. If your having problems downloading system updates, I recommend testing your connection to see if its working.

Also Natalie, playing online games is completly free of charge. Like I said, the only thing that you would pay for is the Internet channel, which is just a browser. Not paying to download the browser doesn't stop you from playing games online.

Well you buy A Wii points card for around £15 I think, thats gives you 2100 points. Also if your wanting points, enter my competition which will be up shortly. Luckily for you, you can enter since your in the PAL region.

I think Internet is only 500 points, so 5 dollars...it isn't really worth it IMO

Yeah, the Internet Channel is 500 points

internet channel is the only additional channel that cost money, it used to be free but not anymore

you can also get vitual consoles for money aswell
