2000 Wii points up for grabs
How to play
I decided to host this competition because I felt that PAL gamers were being left out slightly, since it wasn't possible for PAL gamers to win in the other competition that taken place. Ok here goes, you have one chance to win and one chance only. The aim of the game is to post reasons why you deserve to be given the Wii Points card. The competition will last 7 days, at the end of the seven days the winner will be debated and picked by 3 judges. The winner will be decided by who has the "best" reasons. Your reasons could be funny, sad, entertaining etc, so be imaginative! I can assure you that the winner will be picked fairly, one of the things we will be looking for is the amount of effort you put into your entry.
Please read below before submitting an entry
- Only one entry is aloud
- PAL gamers only
- Entrants must have an online enabled Wii
- Do not spam this thread
- You are not permitted to edit your entry, doing so will result in disqualification
- Judges: Snake, Dume and Smaky
I will edit my post if I have missed anything off. Oh, just incase anyone is worried the prize doesn't excist. I will be buying the points card in town tomorrow. I will then take a photo just to make sure your all 100% with me on this one. I would also like this thread to be stickied for the duration of the competition, if thats possible. Iam also waiting waiting for confirmation from the final judge that its ok for he/she to take part. The judges will also not be able to take part in any way.
Good luck.

Nice idea Snake!
Okay I have a reason.
I live in Ireland, where everything is overpriced. Everything. Do you know how much a Wii Points Card costs over here? $37, that's what. I haven't bought many Wii Points Cards in my Wii ownership, and am limited in quantity of Wii games and junk because of price. Everything is a rip, and it's getting dumb.
The reason for which I'd use the card? Buying The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask when it comes out, which I'm guessing might be soon, just because it's been a year or so since Ocarina of Time.
Why I'd be a good person to receive it? Well, I love my Wii, like I said before many times. Plenty of people don't like the Virtual Console, or the games, but personally I still love my console for what it can do. I could buy another console if I wanted to (even though the cost of it would kill me. $900 PS3 anyone?) but I don't. I'm not a "Nintendo Fanboy" as such, but I still respect the organization, even if they do deserve a beating once in a while
All of these responses are going to sound so conceited

Well, My name is James..I am 13. I have a love of the industry, from the games released to the press conferences, not many people who I know care about games and only about 1 or 2 share some interest further than 'they play fifa every now and again'...I am left alone with my thoughts.
Being 13 I'm a youth, for those English people out there if I was in the norm. I would be out mugging your granny...but no I stay inside and read some Konami production notes on a trusty laptop. Being young I have missed out on the golden days of gaming...my first console was a PS, and it wasn't till the dyeing years of PS2 that I found my love for the industry so again I missed out on plenty greats even though I have a nice collection of PS2 games and GC games (Which I also owned). I lack the likes of MGS, MGS2, MGS3, Melee, wind waker among many many others.
I since then have tried my best to play past games such as original Resident Evils...there is only so much I could do with my situation. The prices of things are also such a large problem...sometimes hard to afford latest titles. I have spent a lot of time learning the roots and that has driven my desire to play past games and have a childhood, like many said I lack one.
Now I have tried to keep up with all news and purchasing the current titles and best titles...however a piece of me will always be missing until I own Starfox64...A game that I love yet have lost all contact with. So, here is one child hoping he has his chance at playing some real games.
Two very good entries. I have just come back from town, yes I have bought the points card. If you need any proof then just drop me a PM or something.
Nah its cool

Stickied for duration of contest
I want a Wii points card because I've never experienced the bliss that is super Metroid. And a 2000 Wii points card costs £15 -> $30
Apparently you cant pay in WiiLoaded-wonder-bucks.

Haha, I already used price as an excuse. And mine beat yours by $7 xD
Wait that's not funny.... that's just annoying... "Rip-off Republic" -_-
For the most part the British point cards are £20, I've only ever seen one for £15 so ours are therefore 40 euros?
Blah who knows, 'yay' for stickyness.
I believe I have reasons...
Firstly, I am a girl gamer (and there aren't too many of those floating around WiiLoaded) and I'm also the first girl to post here. It would also be my first Wii Points card.
Secondly, due to me only becoming interested in gaming and only taking it seriously about a year/year and a half ago, I've never had the chance to experience Virtual Console games such as those from the N64, SNES, NES etc, and these are available to purchase from the Wii Shop Channel.
Finally, I would be able to purchase the internet browser and this would result in me spending more time on WiiLoaded and becoming an even more active member!

Gah, you're just a girl, why would you need a big manly Points Card?

LMX still hasn't entered?

OWN'D!
And D4rk please, she's already taken by Billy
I'm a Pal gamer,
I've owned all nintendo consoles released in the UK,
I've never had a machine chipped, I only play offical games, 'no copies'
The first console i bought with my own money as an N64. for the princly sum of £350, 2 weeks before the offical release. I'd finished Super Mario 64, before most mag's had fully reviewed it.
Damn, thinking about it. i paid £350 for an N64, and i refues to buy a ps3 for the same money, wow i must really be a nintendo fan boy.
yeah, and as i already own all the VC games that i like, there is no reason for me to win, so how about i go out and pick up more points tomorrow or tuesday for whoever SNAKE deems to have second place.
