Lol, the emphasis I was trying to make was having a date and then it being pushed. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying PAL gamers don't have a right to get angry, their games are always later that their Japanese and American counterparts, I was just saying that we're disappointed because we had a date, and now it's gone. Again. Hell, my birthday is Feb. 16, I was hoping for a Brawl get together with a few friends, but not anymore.

Different people have different reasons as to why they're mad. Honestly, I'm not that mad, just extremely disappointed. Although I am a little angry with the delay.

Sakurai is speaking at GDC about creating characters using Brawl as an example. I don't think he'll be a very popular man there lol.

I wonder what the reason for this delay is? Perhaps they're negotiating the rights for Megaman?

They wouldn't postpone for that, they'd delay after confirmation he's in.

They definitely wouldn't. Because Japan's delay is only one week. So they still get the game relatively early.

Agreed....i was pumped for playing it but now...theres nothing... Sulk

nah Megaman is not gonna be in it because japan is getting it too early still to make that kind of change. Even if they had the time to change it it doesnt explain why its been delayed for so long. Sad

Mabye they got something in a few weeks prior to the Japanese release, and barely had enough time to finish it up comfortably. And since Sakurai's a racist, he's been putting the most energy into the Japanese version (haha... x( ). Also, one more month is another month in Hell; "Oh c'mon, we've already flogged you 30 times this week, whats a few more going to hurt?"

At Whobby they had all these charts saying Jan 24th, it was assumed it wouldn't be delayed. XD

I think Sakurai just needs to hide unti March 9th. Forget creating characters, he need to create a sooner release date.

I did a survey on myspace that asked if you felt suicidal once in your life, I was like hell no, then I come to find that the rumor is true about smash being delayed, I don't feel suicidal, I feel more homicidal, cause I'm gonna wait to March 9, but if anybody has a neighbor with a pet cat they don't like... send it to my house, I hate cats.

The Japanese aren't too worried, its only a week delay. It'd be like if the US Metroid fans went homicidal after Metroid Prime 3 got that one week delay.
