So, everyone knows what everyone else thinks about Super Mario Sunshine, but I think it's about time to take a look at at the other obsure Mario platformer.
So what does everyone think about it?
I quite like it. Riding on top of the enemies is entertaining, and just collecting the mushrooms was pretty fun.
It gets a few points docked for poaching doki doki panic to put it out quick to meet demand, but since it was good, who cares?
I think you mean Super Mario Bros. 2. Not Mario World 2, that would be Yoshi's Island. Which is a purely awesome platformer.
Now as for Mario BROS. 2, you'll hate me when I say this. But I didn't like it, I didn't mind a few elements, but overall the game annoyed me. WTF @ Wart.
Wow. I didn't even notice the thread said mario world. There doesn't happen to be a way to change that is there?
I can edit the title for you if you want.
anywho ,i thought the game was fun,but not yoshi's story; i wasted valuable time of my life playing that game

Mario 2 (Doki doki panic?) is my personal favorite Mario game. I love almost everything about it, and have been waiting for the return of Wart for some time now.

I really liked it too. Super Mario World is my favorite, but Super Mario Bros. 2 is so interesting it's one of my favorites. I don't like how Nintendo cannibilized Doki Doki Panic, but it doesn't really matter, the mario characters are cooler anyway

Nintendo of America thought the actual SMB 2 (which we later got as SMB: The Lost Levels) was too hard, so they converted Doki Doki Panic into a Mario game instead.
Personally I think it's a pretty solid game, one of the better NES titles.
I like it, because no matter what people say about unoriginality, games like this and Zelda II should prove to them that Nintendo has been eperimenting and changing things since the beginning. The problem is that players whine and ***** when a game is different, then when a game like Twilight Princess comes out, they all whine and ***** that Nintendo doesn't ever do anything different.
super mario bros 2
it's super hard, and rocks, ..... wait you do mean lost levels right. the actual smb2,
not

Yume Koyo that was rebaged as SMB2 for the western world. !!!!
Wait, is this game the one with Birdo? You're confuzzling me :S
yup birdo, wart, and the first time anyone saw shyguy
If anyone talks about Super Mario Bros. 2, just assume they mean the Doki Doki Panic one. Lost Levels wasn't released outside Japan for awhile, and it was still pretty unknown when it finally came over.
By the way, confuzzling isn't a word.
Lost Levels > SMB2.
Also, I hate Wart and most of the baddies in SMB2. I don't think there were any redeeming features in that game that I could find.
Who was talking about the OOT clone Twilight Princess? Not I! Besides, this game isn't original, its Doki Doki Panic. Lol. And Zelda II is okay at best, but its got nothing on the other Zelda's.
I like it. Jumping on top of enemies and letting them carry you around the level was funny. And Zelda II is cool too, you just have to let the mechanics sink in, after that, it's all gravy.
