Seeing this movie this Thursday, I've only spoiled one song for me.
"Epiphany"
And my God, its sounding awesome. Yes I'm aware you guys have had it for a good month. But I'm still hyped to see it.
Tim Burton ftw.
my friend saw it can said it was good, i might see it when it comes out.
seeing it this weekend, looks promosong
I'm hoping to go and see this. It looks really good

I'm not even sure when this is arriving here but I'll go and see it. My movie mate that sees everything with me is iffy on this one so I have to convince them that it's gonna be good.
Its 9.44am and I'm seeing it at 4.15pm... can't wait. Gonna rock.
Saw it. Loved it. Everyone else go see it.
Right. I want to see this now.

Me too. I don't really have the money this weekend but we could go next week
If you wanna go that is lol.

Deal.
Ill probably watch it online if i dont in theaters. Everyone keeps saying the blood looks like red paint though lol.
When is this coming out here??????? I was watching a movie tonight and they showed the trailer for it again. I think it's coming in Feb but not sure. Still trying to convince my friend as well...
saw it at its midnight premiere here with enough friends to fill an entire row and a half in the theater...and not one of us had any complaints about it. there were only a few of us who had predicted that whole scenario with the beggar woman, but the rest of us were pleasantly left out of the loop til the end.
also, ive been hearin complaints about the blood...how its so red and theatrical instead of realistic...and to those of you who will complain about it, its supposed to be like that -_- this was a play originally, and i like that they kept it feeling that way.
and Depp's voice = <3 its the first time that its actually him singing (Crybaby wasn't him :3), unless theres a movie i missed...
Yeah, people who complain about the blood seem to be missing that this is a stage show become movie. And I appreciate that Burton wanted to keep that feeling about it. Imagine if the blood was realistic... wow it would have gotten a rating leap.
Anyway, excellent film and yeah the beggar woman scenario was pretty predictable... but again, musical lol. They mostly concern themselves with music instead of pure plot.
The movie just arrived here but sadly they only have 2 showings per day and they're both very late. I have some free time this week so I'm gonna try to watch it. I don't know why but they also have it as NC17 here... Strong Sexual Content??? Extreme paintblood??? If not then I feel bad for younger teens who want to see it.
uhm...well...people are...sliced and dumped and diced, to put it nicely. not including the final scene, which was AWESOME.
but yeah. in simpler terms - proooobably not for kids.
Throats are slit. A couple of swears are dropped. I don't remember any strong sexual content... Although, Anthony (the sailor) is VERY creepy in the movie version... because he just seems like a stalker.
Do they think that walls can hide you?
Even now I'm at your window.
I'm in the dark beside you,
Buried softly in your yellow hair.
W.T.F.
In the actual musical he is much better developed, like the fact that he buys the bird for Johanna if my memory serves me correctly (I have the score somewhere...) and the Judge Turpin kills the bird and wrecks the cage.
I just finished watching the movie today or boy was I pissed. I wasn't pissed at the movie itself but at how dumb the Thai censor board can be. First they made this movie NC17 and then they censored the hell out of it. Every single throat cut was censored with the stupid blurry boxes over the picture and they even censored the damn bottle of Gin that the boy drank... It totally killed the mood of the movie for me. As far as the movie went, I enjoyed the acting in the movie, especially Depp and I liked the plot for the most part and was ok with the ending as well. I was let down by the music/singing though. I enjoyed only about 3 songs in the whole movie. I didn't expect the movie to be as long as it was and it seemed like they tried to cram in as many songs as they could. I would have much rather have had less singing and more acting. The movie was ok to me but the damn Thai censors pissed me off!
What the heck?! They butchered the movie with censorship... that's horrible.
I just watched American Gangster today and I really enjoyed it but they also censored parts of it. It's starting to scare me because they didn't censor this much before. It was crazy because they showed them making the heroine and putting it in the needles but blurred it out when they actually injected it. Also, one chick in the beginning had her breast censored but later on when they were shown they didn't censor anything and breasts and bush were all over the place.
