Rumor: New Kid Icarus Game for Wii
Ex-Nintendo developer Factor 5 and Nintendo had temporarily separated. Factor 5 then went on to release Lair, a dragon-themed shooter exclusively on the PlayStation 3. But as of last week Factor 5 and Nintendo have joined up again to work on a new game. Factor 5 will be developing an exclusive game for the Nintendo Wii. Word on the web says that the un-revealed title will be none other than a Kid Icarus game!
"Kombo has learned from a credible source that said Wii game is in fact a new instalment in Nintendo's cherished Kid Icarus franchise. According to sources, Factor 5's Kid Icarus title is being developed ground-up for Wii. It will not use one of the developer's previous GameCube graphics engines. Unfortunately, at this time, no other details have been provided to us for publish."
Around twenty-two years ago Kid Icarus was released for the Nintendo Entertainment system. Starring in the game was a young angel named Pit. Ever since Kid Icarus he has rarely made an appearance, most recently he earned himself a place in Super Smash Bros Brawl. This could show that Nintendo are interested in bringing Pit back from the dead. After all fans have waited for so long for a Kid Icarus sequel; Nintendo revive this franchise!

The Retrun of Kid Icarus , I can't wait to here more deatails about his new game. I had a feeling Pit being in Brawl would spark a Kid Icarus Wii game.
I remember playing Kid Icarus back in the day but I'm sure a lot of you haven't had the chance to play it. This has great possibilities and it should be a very good game if they do it right. I liked the original so I hope this is true.

I've never played Kid Icarus but it sounds like a pretty awesome game. Plus, Pit is an amazing character.

A new Pit game would be good, or at least a remake of the old one.
This is a pretty sweet rumor if it's true! And the release of Brawl would serve as a great source of advertisement, I think.
