It literally looks like they just re-skinned mewtwo 
So basically... the new roster are clones? No wonder original characters like Krystal, K. Rool and Ridley didn't make it in. Sakurai was too busy making new clones instead of the old ones.

I swear, had I not been waiting for this game for so effing long, and had I not already pre-ordered, I probably wouldn't have bought it.
As a form of retaliation, I will refuse to unlock R.O.B.

I see better things for Smash Bros. 4 since they will probably have a new team on it, hopefully get started earlier, and have people who aren't afraid of getting dirty and making new characters.
But you can't say Sakurai hasn't made an effort for original characters when you've got the likes of Snake, Sonic, Pokemon Trainer, Pit, Meta Knight, Dedede, Olimar, and *shudders* R.O.B.
And he ignored the rest of the Character Poll he wasted his time doing. Good on you Sakurai.
Anyway I wonder who the next team will be so Team Sora can go back to Kirby games no doubt.
So far I'm fine with the roster. You can't have too many new characters. But look at all the other extras he put in. Smash ball, level builder, wi-fi...
Smash Balls are meh to me. Half of the FSA's are cloned anyway.
Marth + Metaknight = shared FSA
Fox + Falco (even though he hates the LandMaster) + Wolf = shared FSA
Falcon + Ganondorf = similar FSA (Blue Falcon crashes into the enemy, Beast Ganon charges into the enemy)
Still waiting on Toon Link, but I can only assume its the same as Link's.

Seriously, the chances of them kicking Sakurai out of the developer seat and replacing them in the next Super Smash Bros. game is slim to none. He's created a game that got a perfect score from Famitsu and will surely sell out as soon as its released. Nintendo isn't stupid enough to let something like that pass them by.
I don't think they'll kick him out. This could just be the last Smash game he develops.
I have faith. Just lets see how good or bad this game is when it comes out.
It's not a question of whether or not the game will be "good." Of course it will be a fun game and blah blah.
The question here is, will the fan service be up to par? Because, really, what is a Smash Bros. game if not a purely fan service endeavor?
Aura Sphere looks a lot more powerful than Shadow ball, and that's really the only move he has similar to Mewtwo.
