Will download tomorrow..since I downloaded three games today.

SWEET! I'm downloading it TONIGHT as I'm on the west coast and it's available at 2 am (and I'm usually up until 5 am or so)

and I already downloaded undertow

*EDIT* quick question--I've never played a DMC game...if I get this will I be completely lost plot wise? And should I pick up the first 3? or, more specifically, WHICH of the first 3 should I snag?

pick up all three and buy the CE of DMC4

You could play and understand DMC4 without playing the other games, but if anything, pick up DMC3 just so you get a hang of the styles and controls. You could also get used to the controls from the demo though so... yeah. But still if you are to pick up a DMC then go with DMC3.

The DMC's = FREAKIN HARD.

2 wasn't hard. 3 Was a pretty difficult on Dante Must Die, I don't remember 1.

Oh yeah, go download the demo.

All I can say is.

played the demo. it's cool. there doesnt seem to have enough variety in the attacks. maybe you learn more as you continue to play. graphics are nice. i'll probably pass on it though.

I dunno, I was pretty impressed.

One thing though--it felt very...empty? or maybe just alone. I'm not sure if this is part of the DMC feel as I'm a virgin to the series, but there was just something about the environments that made me feel very alone, and it wasn't a good feeling. Just kinda blah.

Aside from that, though, the demo was lots of fun

I was gonna skip the game until I fought Berial. This game is perrty gewd.

youre right. it felt like they were showcasing the environment more than the gameplay. there really werent that many enemies to fight and none of them really put up a challenge. not even that firey thing.

Before it finishes, you sort of have to take into account there are only two basic enemies in the demo, they give you no additional melee weapons or guns, no Devil Trigger, and not too many moves (thrust and lift is all they give), not to mention it's a 1+ year old demo.
