sweat Play

"I'm sweating,
And breathing
And staring and playing
And swinging
Harder.
It's almost like I'm Federer."
Admit it, you've been sweating haven't you? Well don't be ashamed as the Nintendo Wii console has got us all in sweat whether it be the likes of the sporting Wii Sports, the web slinging spiderman 3 or the frantic movements of wario ware. We stood there shouting 'Mercy' and panting while throwing arms around like a maniac as your healthy physical friend stood and watched you fail dramatically at 'boxing'.
Canadian students from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia took it upon themselves to test out the Wii and compare it to a real workout. All for scientific needs of cause! (Pssh). They tested out the Wii and tested out a conventional exercise scheme and their conclusions were neither new or shocking.
The results told us what earlier scientific tests explained. Although the Wii keeps us active and promotes cardiovascular activity it is in no way intense like a 'real' workout of sit ups, lifting and many more exercises.
With WiiFit on the way hitting our shores soon we may see a true wii impact on healthy living until then waving arms around is all we can handle.

Nice article Cappin'
I often sweat playing Guitar Hero?

Nice read Cappin'

I reckon Wii Fit will actually do really well with the people who want to get fitter. My arms get tired really quickly when I play boxing.

Lol same here, but it's more of a dead arm that I get. Especially when playing Through The Fire And Flames; amazing song!

The "dead arm" song for me is definitely My Name is Jonas by Weezer. There's a lot of ring-finger to pinky-finger switching so it stretches your forearm D:

That one kills my arm too. You can never take a break during that song because there are never any long notes. But still, it is an awesome song

That's just what I was going to say! No long notes in Jonas
I went to a website that said the top work out wii games and this is the list.
1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. WarioWare: Smooth Moves
3. Mario & Sonic at The Olympics
4. Wii Fit
5. Dance Dance Revolution
6. Zelda: Twilight Princess
7. Wii Sports
8. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08
9. Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam
10. SSX Blur
Yeah cuz you get so much more excersize using galaxy that fit.
Playing Wii isn't as intense as regular exercise?! No way! I would have never guessed!

That's why it's clarification, fool.
Sarcasm ftl.
2. WarioWare: Smooth Moves (some parts)
3. Mario & Sonic at The Olympics (decent amount of movement)
4. Wii Fit (haven't tried it yet)
5. Dance Dance Revolution (of course, this has always been a great workout and you can actually lose a lot of weight playing this game regularly on the dance pad)
7. Wii Sports (if you actually play and don't just sit and waggle, especially boxing)
8. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 (not so much but somewhat if you actually do the swing)
The others I cut out due to basically no movement at all. Shaking the wiimote (flicking) is not even a bit of exercise. That's like saying I'm exercising when I pick up my Big Gulp from 7Eleven because it has some weight to it and I have to bend my elbow.
Wiifit and dance dance should tower over others which involve small arm twitches.
Wii Boxing makes me all hot and nasty

Well let me clarify that you're still alive! No way right?! You'd never guess something like that!
Useless info ftl. This is just trash.
