Rumor: Boogie sequel to use balance board?

Boogie is an original IP, which combines both singing and dancing gameplay into one big "fun-fest". Add stylish and unique graphics into the mix and you have yourself the perfect party game. Well, not exactly. Despite being original, the dancing gameplay didn't offer much more than swinging your arms in four different directions. While the singing section of the game offered...singing. The game ended up receiving pretty mediocre reviews. Did this stop EA from making a sequel? Definitely not.

Rumors reveal that EA are not only thinking about a sequel, but plan to use the Wii Balance Board as a dance mat in Boogie. Although EA will most likely wait to see how successful Wii Fit is before jumping on the Wii Balance Board bandwagon.

Hmmmm...I think it should be made illegal to make a sequel to Boogie. You are definitely right about the dance and singing modes - swinging your arms in four directions - and I bought this game why? I don't know, luckily when I traded it in I a got a good deal. What an interesting idea to use the Wii Balance board...but does anybody think this will make the sequel sell better? To families - yes; to those of us who have proper gaming taste - no.

I don't think the game is so bad that it should be "illegal" to make a sequel. I'm also sure that this game sold pretty well.

I never played it. Is it worth a sequel?
it may have sold well because of the usb microphone, too, if people assume there will be tons of singstar/karaoke type games coming out soon
The singing part is not so bad but the dancing part is ridiculous. You do the same movement to every song and the temp NEVER FREAKIN CHANGES! That is NOT dancing at all. They should have just added more songs and options for making the videos and left out the so-called dancing. At least with the balance board it may be more like dancing.
