Ricky Gervais is a legend. And The Office UK dominates The Office US. But that's only because Ricky Gervais is funnier than Steve Carell.

I was pondering that, and then I realized that while they're based on each other they're actually two different characters. True that Gervais is funnier than Carell, but still I like Michael Scott as a character just as much as David Brent. Scott is someone you can feel sorry for a bit more.
