Apparently, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be aviable the day of the launch. Though it is primarily for the Gamecube, it will have plenty of Wii-specific extra features, such as firing a bow and arrow and sword play using the Wii controller.
I can't wait, considering I've had this game preordered in full since fall 05.
Are you going to get it for the Wii or the Gamecube. I think i'll stick to the gamecube version and then get it later for the Wii

I would just get the wii version. Why? well logic behind it goes as such. THERE BOTH RELEASED ON THE SAME DAY! if you have a wii you would hafta be mentally insane not to get the wii version. Even if your not able to get a wii at launch being a little patient and waiting to get a wii as well as the wii version of the game will save your pockets

my understanding of the gcn version is for ppl who are not ready to buy wii yet and have wanted the zelda game for a long time, about two years ago it was announced and it would be a shame for ppl that may have bought the system just for zelda to have to buy another. The Wii version seems like it might also be compatible with the gcn controllers
It would be best for nintendo to release 1 version of the game. The core gameplay is the same just some tweaked controls for the wii version to my knowledge.

project hammer is a pretty good game, its fun to toss the controller around and smash things. might pick it up myself.
i'll be getting it for the GC.
It's hard to choose between the two. I love the Wii, but I'm not going to give up on traditional gaming yet.

Basically this is more of a reason to get the wii version since the wii version will indeed allow you to play normally also.
