Has anyone else watched this?
I was actually amazed
It is supposed to be the best concert they ever played, and I can understand why. It was at Earl's Court in London 1994, Indoors, with lots of lasers
The sound quality is excelent and sounds amazing on the 640kbps Dolby 5.1 setting. It is in 4:3 aspect but that doesn't take much away.
The pedal steel solo in High Hopes, OMG, words cannot describe it...
In fact any pink floyd fan without this DVD is missing out
I have it yeah. It's not the greatest Floyd DVD--which I think is Live at Pompeii--but it's a lot of cool footage. Who's that in my avatar? :wink:
There's some recognition going on but I can't say....
go on, tell me, my life depends on what you post next

lol
Pink Floyd is awsome, but alas, i havn't seen that DVD. I'll have to snag it

Roger Waters(on the left), Pink Floyd bassist;
David Gilmour(on the right, PF lead guitar & vocals (post-Syd);
and then Rick Wright, PF keyboards/synth.
They sure do love their oysters.
I thought it was Roger Waters, I did not realise that it was David Gilmore on the right!
lol

You won't regret it

pulse is good, but live @ pompeii is amazing. i've seen several concerts from the umma gumma through meddle era and they are far and away better than any other live floyd i've seen, not that later floyd is bad. it's just not as good live.

The truth brother.
I love Pink Floyd's songs, but I don;t have the DVD. I'm not obsessed with them, but I just can't help but smile when I hear the helicopter opening "The Wall" on the radio.
On my old phone, I had "The Wall" play whenever my brother called me. Which was seldom... :|
I've seen the Pulse DVD and I'm throughly unimpressed. sorry!
I saw Roger Waters on october 10, however, and it was PHENOMENAL! darkside straight through, and every other pink floyd song I could possibly have wanted to hear! (well, okay, not true, but if it were his set would have been waaayyyyyyy too long haha)
