There both the 3rd in the series!
There both one of the top shooting games i've ever played!
There both Sci-fi shooter as most of us like to call!
They both got an incredibly high rating on most websites!
But,which do you think is better?
Lets just name this, our official best shooter war!

Story wise I'd say MP3 too but multiplayer wise it has to be Halo 3, especially since MP3 doesn't have a multiplayer mode.
Story Wise - MP3
Multiplayer
Re playability
etc
HALO 3.
Never played any and most ppl didnt really like halo 3 becauseit was to easy the good thing about it was online play and multiplayer and it didnt have a good story to it.
I didnt really play campaign, I just play for Online since its so FTW
Anything Single Player goes to MP3.
EVERYTHING with replayability and multiplayer goes to Halo 3. :l
I dunno. Metroid has always had some serious replayability...the only thing replayable about Halo 3 is the mutiplayer...
I'd say Metroid tops it overall, but Halo 3 has sick multiplayer.
OOOooooh!
Don't let LMX anywhere NEAR this thread!

wait wait wait wait..
After you get everything in Metroid ( for LMX that shouldn't take long ) after beating it with everything, I dont know about you, but I wouldn't want to play the game again.
Halo 3 Multiplayer:
-Wanting to Get into a Clan
-Play with friends
-Getting all the achievements, so you can unlock more things in the game
etc
Halo 3 has much more replayability then metroid.
I think the real innovation of the controls in Metroid deserve a few bonus points. Halo 3 did play exactly like the other ones.
innovation goes to metroid because of Wii Controls. It was pretty awesome.
I dont know about you, but I wouldn't want to play the game again.
I'm currently in my second play through of the game.
Overall I'd give it to Metroid but by the smallest of margins.
I like the looks of the Metroids, but could never get into them. I only had Metroid Prime Hunters for DS, but I was never a fan of first-person shooters, and I was too busy playing Castlevania to pick up the old metroid remakes
Metroid Prime 3 offers a very good single-player game and no multiplayer; Halo 3 offers a decent single-player game with outstanding multiplayer. Advantage Halo 3.
For story and single player, Metroid Prime 3. But for multiplayer and general lifespan, Halo 3.
Its too hard to choose between them. One is a FPS and the other is an FPA with casual FPS elements.
