Looks real but why is the box so big all your getting with the game is a custom made steering wheel.

I think it's just that we have nothing to compare it to so it's hard to get a good idea of the size. It looks alright to me.

Yes, unnecessary packaging but this is Nintendo. It's not custom made, everyone gets the same one.

Shouldn't this be discussed in the box art section? Natalie already posted it there I think.

its not big at all, when I first saw the box art for the Zelda crossbow training game, I thought it looked as big as the actual wii system box, but it turned out to be half that size.

Well, it's a big 1st party title and it is kind of mysterious so I think it should stay here.

I hope not, seeing as it says "Mario Kart Wii." I'd expect a better name than that, even something corny, like with "Mario Kart: Double Dash."

btw, you can't really go by the size, it could just be a zoomed in shot.

If this is fake, somebody did a preeeeetty good job at it, I'd say. Could go either way, but it would make good box art if this is it.

It's fake because the only thing being used on it is the same image we saw of Mario and Luigi way back at E3. I'm positive that when Nintendo makes the Mario Kart box art they'll have a lot more art at their disposal.

I agree with you, Nintendo better not be going back to their creative naming system like they did with the N64. mario kart 64.. super mario 64.. wave race 64.. pilotwings 64.. starfox 64, THE LIST GOES ON.

My guess is that it's fake, but it could definitely be similar to the final box art. Still, I don't think the final one will be that plain. Just because the pic of MKWii we have now is pretty plain doesn't mean it's the box art.

Hmmmmm, could be fake due to the picture on it being the same picture that has been used for MarioKart for a while now. If it's fake, then it was a good effort from whoever made it.

Even though it's the same picture it doesn't mean it's fake. There have been pics that were shown when announced that've been seen again on the box art.
