Cobalt/Black DS Heading To Stores In Less Than Two Weeks
On January 28th, Ign posted a story about the Circuit City leak of a potential new Nintendo DS Lite color, and now it's confirmed!!! Now the black and blue ds was confirmed February 1st officially by Nintendo. The new DS color, called Cobalt/Black, is set to release February 10 at every major game retailer nationwide. Nintendo of America compared the Cobalt/Black DS to a "black t-shirt with a splash of color" that "grabs your attention" in a press release today.
Much like the Crimson/Black DS released in '07, this ds will feature a glossy Cobalt top and the rest coated in black. Nintendo called the new color a "fashion-forward color scheme" in their press release, and stated that "now there's a Nintendo DS color to complement any outfit."
The Cobalt/Black Ds joins the other collection of Ds colors, including. Polar White, Coral Pink, Onyx, Crimson/Black and the limited-edition Gold and Metallic Rose as an official North American color scheme.
For now, the Colbalt/Black DS is a North American exclusive.

Yeah, just like the original Gameboy Advance SP. For new DS buyers there are so many choices. I still like my black, but now I kinda want a new color.
