Giants won.
Pats loss.
Biggest upset ever.
overall, it was a amazing game. Eli proved he wasn't a retard after all.
Jill congrats to your city
I didn't really care who won but there was a still a part of me that wanted to see the Pats go 19-0, regardless of the fact that they've won so many recently. That, coupled with the fact that I don't like the Giants (or the Patriots for that matter) meant that I was a little disappointed that the Pats choked. My teams were the Chargers and Pack. If either or both of them had made it, then I would've been much more interested.
I enjoyed watching the Pats fall from their pedestal. Didn't really care that the Giants won. Besides, they're a good team, there's always next year.
I wanted Giants to win because..UNDERDOGS FTW!
Eli looked retarded..he looked scared errthang.
Tom Brady looked calm throughout it all.
GO GIANTS! That 4th quarter catch was amazing, and then it lead to a touchdown. Eli broke off of like 5 guys. Awesome.
i'm...so...PISSED!!! GAAHHH!!!! We had the win, but we just couldn't cover Plaxico!!!!! This thread names it all. BIGGEST UPSET EVER! the only upside is that the Pats didnt beat the dolphins record of 17-0. I mean theoretically they did, but no...eh...
Eli went to my college and my Dolphins are the only team to have gone undefeated through an entire season+playoffs, so I had to support the Giants. Not to mention that the regular season game of Pats vs Giants was a great, close game, and the fact that Eli was criticized all season; thus I was going for the Giants and very happy that they won.
Giants defense was crushing Brady. Ouch.
yeah i'm glad the giants won. the ending was a bit crazy though, with everyone rushing the field even though the game wasn't actually over.
Since the time zone is 12 hours different I missed all of the game except for the last 5 minutes, which was the best part! At first I almost wanted the Patriots to win because no team has gone undefeated and won the Superbowl since the Dolphins but I always cheer for the underdog and I thought the Giants played their hearts out. Best play of the game in my opinion was when the QB avoided a sure sack near the end of the game and launched the ball down the field for a great catch. If you watch the replay he had three people holding him, two at his feet and one pulling his jersey. He was determined not to get sacked as it would almost surely be the end of their chance to win. They really did play with heart and both teams had some pretty good defense going on.
plus the patriots are sooo arrogant and smug thru-out season so it was great to see them (finally) quieted
and it was a great back and forth game and the commercials didnt suck
hahaha,
beep boop bap beep bobt bep bop
*mmmmmmm*
"Hello"
"Guess who lost the superbowl"
"Shut up! >: ("
*bbbbbbbbbbb*
in other news, huge sig is huge.
AnbuGaara won the SuperSig.
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUPERBOWL!!!
Well the time difference makes it go on from 11.30pm
-3.30am over here, and the fanbase in Ireland is minimal, but there are a few select supporters in my school that follow footbal, including me
Will somebody explain the Superbowl to me? As in, is it a knockout or a league tournament? Sad for the Patriots; I'm a New England guy. RED SOX!
It's the championship of championships. The big kahuna of football games. Basically football players play all year to be in the Super Bowl. Well... not ALL year, but yeah.

The teams play through 17 weeks (one game a week with a bye week in there so they play 16 games) and then the division leaders and then two others in each conference go into the playoffs. From there it becomes knockout tournament style where it's win or go home. The name "Super Bowl" is only used for the final game.

Yeah and classy move by Belichick to leave the field before the game was over too...
Anyway I'm not a big fan of either team but it was hard not to get stoked watching the Giants defence impose their will on the Brady bunch. That winning drive was also beautiful to watch, especially the Eli sack-evasion followed by the amazing Tyree catch. That has to be one of the all-time greatest plays.
