This just in, a Swedish paper may have revealed the Wii's pricing, to the dismay of me and I'm sure everyone else.
According to Patrik Johansson at Nintendo's Swedish general agency, the price for a Wii-console will be between 2500-3000 kronor, a few thousand kronor less than the competitors consoles. Wii will be launched globally at the end of 2006.

Keep in mind that this is roughly 10:1 exchange to the US Dollar, so it would relate to ~$250-300!
Oh wait, wouldn't we feel stupid if this was just some random price speculation, not yet confirmed? Not like that hasn't happened before!

I really doubt it's 10 times the American pricing either. A $200 console would not be $2000 in Sweden, it's not that remote of a Euro country. Maybe they mean conversion-wise, but that'd just be saying American currency is worth 10 times more than Swedish.

I don't trust Swedes! I'll wait for Nintendo to tell me! I'm guessing it will be somewhere in between 200-235

There has been many pricec rumours from $149USD - 250USD. Only beleive it when Nintendo Releases the Price. Not from any other site. Tons of Data creates estimates but nintendo might not do just like the estimates, so be prepared for any price at any time , as early as august.

I think it will be between $200 and $225.00. But as high as $250 is still acceptable taking into consideration that it is Nintendo's Next Gen Console.
