can anyone confirm or deny this rumor...i've heard nothing but good things about KH so this would be quite a coup if legitimate

´Kingdom Hearts III´ will be exclusive to Wii, according to N4G forum user Astro, who is citing the March issue of Nintendo Power. In his post, he sums up the alleged article:
- Kingdom hearts 3 Wii exclusive, developed and published by square-enix.
- Tetsuya Nomura is the game director.
- Yoko Shimomura composer.
- Direct sequel to KH3, but also will reveal interesting things about chains of memories.
- Sora main character, a new misterious girls is also one of the main characters
- combat system vastly improved, every attack looks "sick", uses Wii-Remote in a very intuitive way
- Best looking Wii game, uses normal mapping far more than Konami's dewey's adventure, the animations are incredible and the art directon is a little less "kiddie"
- Winter 2008 release.
There are no scans of the article and there are no other reports concerning the particular magazine issue. For the moment, the story is as credible as the original poster. Although he joined in November, he has started only two threads on N4G, the first one being about ´God of War´ for PlayStation3.

Hm I hope this turns out to be true. I'm sick of other consoles getting all the "exclusive" games, and its time that Wii had a blockbuster all to itself!!!

LoL Me too, the only one I've played is KH:Chain of Memories, and thts becuz it was on GBA! So hopefully we can finally play the real thing instead of the spin-off!!

I HIGHLY doubt it..but if they could be doing that, since they don't want to make KH3 that big, like FFXIII, and the graphics could be slightly better than Kh2, so they don't have to worry in that place.

Well they could make KH:3 exclusive to Wii, they could also port the two others to Wii as well. Which would please a few people who have never experienced Kingdom Hearts, me being one of them.

It's a game with Disney characters...CARTOON characters...you'd think graphics would be one of the last things to worry about in that game. Honestly, I never cared for the graphics when playing KH2, it was the gameplay that kept me. :l

I read that issue(its the February issue though) and it did say something about an RPG in the back. It could be true and if it is I lot of people will be highly disappointed. It would seem weird making the first two games PS2 exclusives and then ending the trilogy on the Wii. I doubt Sony wouldn't try to fight to kep KH3 on the PS3, i don't mind if it changes it'd just feel weird to me, like if Sonic 3 were to be on the SNES instead of being on the Genesis, it'd sorta ruin the connectivity.
Don't get your hopes up. I'm not sure if I'd be happy about this.
I think I'd rather Wii get a KH spin-off. As much as I'd love KH3 on Wii, after playing KH2 on PS2 there were some amazing things done on that system and I'd want SquareEnix to use the PS3 to the best of its ability to really make KH3 amazing.
The 1,000 Heartless fight from KH2 is one of the greatest moments in video gaming I've experienced. And I'd love to see what Square could do on the PS3 with KH3.
Anything on the PS3 could easily be done on the Wii. The PS3 is still in infancy and a game that really pushes the system to it's limits already would be nothing short of a medical miracle
