xplay on g4tv has been hands on with SSBB all this week, i have only seen one episode so far

adam really likes using the wiimote nunchuk combo while morgan prefered the gamecube controller...playing with pokemon trainer and pikmin respectfully

they also ranked the top 5 stages... the show is available on the g4 website if you want to check it out

if this is old news then my apoligies, i looked around and didnt see it

After watching their gameplay footage which included flailing around and falling for no reason 95 times, I wouldn't trust either of their opinions as to which control scheme works. Toungue
yeah, i think you tournament guys are safe from these challengers
I saw this episode of XPlay and I still think using the GC controller would be the best way to go. I am a little disappointed at some of the stages. After watching the WarioWare stage, I asked myself...Isn't this a fighting game, and why put the little minigame stuff in this amazing series?

From the 5 stages that XPlay thought were the best, I just have to say that I was really disappointed.
i didnt see enough of the levels to make a decision, but the warioware stage didnt look all that special
The Wario Ware stage sucks and so do the people playing it. Lol
i have seen many videos of people playing brawl, and it still looks like the gamecube controller is the best option to me

Variety. Brawl offers competitive, as well as simple and fun stages. It's not just a background swap like every other fighting game out there. There are stages for all to enjoy. Big Grin

*throws confetti*

I watched it and they both sucked att he game, yesterday focused on the Women in Brawl, tonight is supposed to be an episode not to miss, but I will because i'm going out.
I liked playing with the Wii Remote turned on its side over the Classic Controller. I dunno, it just felt more natural and their were less buttons so you didn't have to hunt all over the controller to find the jump button...

But that was at EFA. Maybe it changed...
I want to use the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo...it has a great feel with all games on the Wii, especially Galaxy. I will try out the GCN controller as well...The Wiimote alone won't be an option.

The levels look great...there are alot of them so you will get to pick your favs. I am uber psyched
GameCube controller. Period. That's a view I am NOT shifting on.
Here's video of last night's show
Nothing too exciting though.
The Gamecube controller dominates all methods. With Classic Control in second place.
the GCN controller will def. be the controller of choice. wii-mote for fun matches. plus the other controller options needs batteries. [/cheap]
I honestly need to try them all before I can choose what i want.
I'm not sure I even want to test out the other methods. I'm too lazy to hold my own hands up when playing with Wiimote and Nunchuk-- I'm just too used to holding a single controller between my hands.
