The smash hit Guitar Hero will release its fourth title in the series during the end of 2008. The British band called, The Answer, said in a press release, that their song "Never Too Late" will be on Guitar Hero 4 which is due out at the end of this year. Meanwhile, Activison UK has no comment on this.

I expected that Activision would have nothing to say on the matter. I'll be much happier when we have a good tracklist revealed, which we won't find out for a while I know. Hopefully the title will be released this year. I suppose we'll have to watch this space.
I honestly don't want to see another Guitar Hero this year, well atleast not until the end of the year. If Guitar Hero 4 comes too soon then I will end up skipping Guitar Hero 3 in favour of keeping up with the franchise. Heck I'm still playing GHII.
Too soon. I bought GH3 because of hopes for it to live long thanks to downloadable content. I'd prefer they just make more songs for GH3 then have a whole new game already.
For those of you who are saying it's too soon, first off. IF you bought GH3 then that means you can just buy GH4 without the guitar controller and voila. Cheaper game and pure awesomesauce.
Yeah, but you see. There's something to be said about the quality of franchises that just add a new game each year. I don't want Guitar Hero to become like that.
I just purchased GH3 and I'm loving it but I play it without the guitar because I don't like the feeling of the buttons on it. I prefer using my Dual Shock 3 much better. I do have problems with the multiplayer contest as I would have preferred it just be based on skill instead of lame attacks you can perform on your partner. I haven't tried co-op yet but I plan to this weekend. I think that unless they add anything special too it then they should just keep adding songs.

Guitar Hero 3 has, without a doubt, thee BEST set list of the franchise list. You really owe it to yourself to pick this one up.
I just learned, Guitar hero 4 will be kind of dedicated to Aerosmith songs! Aerosmith is working with Activition, or whoever stole it from Harmonix, on it!!
I think/thought the GH: Aerosmith and GH 4 are different games. If they are one in the same then I'm NOT picking it up. I would just like to have more songs and I finally picked up the guitar! I may be crazy but it seems since I use the guitar that the modes are harder than one I use the controller. I don't mean harder to use but the button combinations are more complex than when I use my controller. Maybe they set it up that way or something.
Yeah, they are different. I didn't get that until after I posted. I'll get them both anyways. But I'll definitely get Aerosmith.
The guitar may be harder, but the whole point is to emulate playing the guitar, so I don't get playing with the controller. The whole fun of Guitar hero is the controller.
I don't mean it's harder because of the button or anything. I mean that I finished the game on easy and medium using the controller. When playing medium with the guitar the button combinations you have to press for the song were different than with the controller and they were much harder as well. Play a song on medium using the controller and you'll see that it's different than with the guitar.
