and not a crappy one like pokemon stadium or PBR, I want an actual gameboy type pokemon game in 3D for the Wii. walking around and seeing a pokemon, throwing your wii remote to throw a poke ball. IT WOULD KICK ASS.
what do you think the possibilities of this happening are?
Hey it makes perfect sense to me and i would be willing to bet it would be a high seller cuz almost everyone prefers the handheld pokemon games to the console games...so i think it would be stupid for Nintendo not to consider a gameboy type of Pokemon game for the Wii
i'm just suprised they haven't done it already, i didn't really expect it on the n64 but i did for the cube, but we got nothing yet. I just hope nintendo doesn't release a new pokemon snap game, using the wiimote to take pictures... >.>
Wait for the next Pokemon colloseum?
They could do so much with they made a Pokemon game for the Wii based on the handheld games...Imagine an interactive world online where instead of facing random comp. players along a route, u can play other gamers online if u wanted to
I don't think Nintendo would be bothered with the effort to create such a game even though it will sell well and would be cool. But I'm 99.9% sure there will be another Pokémon Wii game and not the WiiWare one.
OMG Wenis that would be my dream come true! Maybe like a first person adventure RPG! That would be so AWESOME!!!
ONE CAN ONLY DREAM!
Wait for the next Pokemon colloseum?
LEARN TO READ CLOUD
Couldn't that be like Pokemon Colloseum.. the adventure one with a story and such..
What do u mean I thought Colleseum was just another Pokemon Stadium? Wasn't it? (I havn't played it, btw)
A Pokemon ARPG would be out of this world.
I want to recreate those gym fights of the TV show, where a Pikachu versus an Onix is totally feasible (or how leaving your Pikachu unevolved is totally rapeage anyway).
My bad. I abbreviate Action RPG, ARPG. I must be doing it wrong.
Essentially a game like Zelda, but very much unlike Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. So a happy medium like God of War.

What we need is a FPARPG (First-Person-Adventure-Role-Playing-Game)!!!
Pokemon = Pocket Monsters and would defeat the whole idea of Pokemon.
It'd be a lot easier and cheaper to put money, time, effort, etc. into a DS game, rather than a Wii FPARPG. It'd be cool, but unlikely to happen.

You didn't hear about the RPG mode? It was basically a darker, less kiddy story, where you "snagged" "shadow" pokemon from other trainers to heal them, and it was at higher levels. Your starters were Umbreon and Espeon at level 26 & 25 respectivly. And there were no wild pokemon, or routes between cities. It was interesting. It was not near as cool as the gameboy games, but was a neat take on pokemon, not to mention a way to burn the poeple who think pokemon is always the same every game.
As for an RPG on a console. It makes a lot of sense does it not? I have thought about this for years. It seems so obvious, but makes you wonder what the hell the execs at Nintendo are thinking. But changing battle mechanics would be a bad idea. First-Person would suck too, it would make exploring unintuitive and difficult.
In XD Gale of Darkness you could catch some wild pokemon, but it was limited and you had one Eevee and it was your decision on how you wanted it to evolve. Overall better improvements.

No its still the same Battle Mechanics.
And your right about the First Person thing, maybe like a third-person feel like the 3D Zelda games.
I didn't say the Colosseum mechanics were changed.
I'm just saying being able to hit an Onyx with lighting, or hitting birds with ground attacks would mess up the strategy aspect of Pokemon, which is the whole point. The skylinedfire dude had a previous post about that.

Oh yeah your rite about that, it would mess up the whole strategy and all as u mentioned
