if by unbiased you mean: hates the Wii, then i guess i am in the minority
i like my wii, its really fun, if i didnt own it, i still would not own a next gen console yet
Wait, who said I hate Wii? Just because I'm not afraid to throw critism at Nintendo, it doesn't mean I hate it. The Wii was an awesome console at first; but due to delays and crappy third party games, I don't own one. Like I said, I will be owning one sometime in the future, which further supports the fact that I don't hate the Wii. Why would I re-buy a console that I hate? Duh.
Is it because I don't complain about the 360 much? What about the lack of variety when it comes to games. I do grow slightly tired when it comes to FPS. But things like the awesome online and the awesome games, I deal with it. I also don't like the fact that the Xbox 360 is so un-reliable, sometimes I turn on my 360 and stare at it incase I have the RROD. But I have a warranty.
The only solution I had for the lack of good Wii games was to wait. So why keep something I'm not playing? I might as well sell it, buy some good 360 games. Then buy a Wii when I feel the time is right.

I was about to recommend that. Nothing is wrong with debating if it's done right and you use valid points. No one should get too serious either. I just want to try to keep the threads on topic as much as possible.
Right. So we should just pretend we are happy with what Nintendo are doing and carry on with our day and Nintendo is perfect? No. Why are some people so protective over a console? It appears half of us have a pretty un-biased view. Also Zoso,

I'm pretty damn sure that I'm not the only person who was fooled by Nintendo's ludicrous claim that the Wii is for everyone. Because Nintendo aren't balancing what games are being put out for Wii. The same goes for most other developers that make games for Wii. It seems that for every 1 mature game that gives me a challenge, there is 5-6 party games. As much as I fell in love with the Wii, I need some kind of serious gameplay experience.
I honestly knew what I wanted and purchased a system that I KNEW was not graphically more sufficient as opposed to its challengers. Do I think there are an abundance of games that are unnecesarry? Absolutely. But with the graphics and the gameplay itself, I knew it would not be intended for the hardcore gaming audience. I am in my twenties and do not have time to play games with long stories, such as Bioshock or Mass Effect. That is why I chose Wii...it is casual and different fron the normal "slouch on the couch and hold a generic controller" approach. These are just my thoughts.
I have a pretty busy life, so my "slouch on the couch" time is pretty relaxing.
