Ok I have A few questions on guitar hero 3.
Fist of all there are a few songs I have noticed that there are a few songs like helicopter and monsters and a bestie boys song some other ones to but I forget there name and my question is how did they get there was it wiiconnect24 or did I buy the tracks w/o noticing them and why would they not be on the career mode so there #1
#2 is why is there a phone jack plug-in thing at the end of the "guitar" It's covered with a plastic flap j/w because it could be possibly for rock band.....no?

Those songs are extras for co-op career mode, and you can play them in quick play after you unlock them in co-op career.
No idea about the phone jack.

The phone jack is used for calling Neversoft whenever Through the Fire and Flames get 100%'ed. It probably won't be getting much use.

Yes, some songs can only be unlocked by playing co-op when not online. They include:
Sabotage by Beatie Boys
Suck my Kiss by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Reptilia by The Strokes
Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll by Blue Oyster Cult
Helicopter by Block Party
Monsters by Matchbook Romance
If you don't know someone else with a guitar and don't care to drop the dough for a 2nd guitar, it's not difficult to unlock the songs on easy in co-op with someone using a wii-mote to control player two (esp. if wii-mote controls the bass). As said before, once unlocked in co-op they are available for solo play in quickplay.
I only have the controller at the moment so hard is extra difficult for me and expert is basically impossible. I have unlocked everything in single player mode but will have to wait for my friend this weekend to play co-op so I can unlock all the songs. I tried it online but as Harmonica said it doesn't work.

One of my buds came over today and we played it straight through to unlock all the songs from the co-op. I now have them all! I need more though...GIVE ME MORE! and Yes, I already downloaded "Dream On' by Aerosmith from the PSN as well as the free Christmas song and bundle.
