I hate them all. I don't want to vote for any of them. The one person that i ABSOLUTELY will not vote for is Clinton. she's terrible in a lot of things she's done, she's rude, she's high-and-mighty, appears to be a family woman...but its all for show, folks.

We do need change. The war - we can't pull out; it'd leave us in a very, very bad position, but idk what course of action would be best. I do know that we need to have a president that can provide a focus on our internal affairs that are destroying us, instead of worrying about destroying another country's religion and way of life. If I had to choose (which i will eventually), I'm leaning more toward Obama than anyone else.

I feel exactly the same way.

'Nuff Said.

Pro-life eh?

Here are my results. I feel ...weird about them.

CONSERVATIVE

CONSERVATIVES tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional
values." They oppose excessive government control of business, while endorsing government action to defend morality and the traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

Don't feel too strongly about it, as you'll probably change your stance within the next 4 years!

When he gets a girl pregnant?

hmm... ill just use protection. Big Grin
70% in personal issues, 70% in economic issues... I'm a libertarian.

I'd vote Democrat, leaning more towards Hillary. I've listened to Obama's speeches, and he's said "Change" so many times, its starting to lose it's meaning.

I honestly don't care who wins this election, as long as it isn't Huckabee. Anybody would be better than Bush.

Yep Smile At least when the protection breaks and he has to sweat it out for a month!

That has to be the worst feeling in the world...

well would wearing 2 condoms double my chances of it working correctly then? haha

I hate politics in general, in the end, you're voting for the person you think will make the least bad mistakes.

Looks like a lot of people will be moving to Canada after these elections xD

Sucks how the president stays the full 4 years no matter what. In Canada, if we don't like the guy, we start a new election As soon as possible. Usually minority governments only last a month, but the current one has lasted a year already. They must be doing something right.. (I haven't heard anything bad anyways)
I'm a Centrist too. But I'm backing Obama.
This is why I'm rooting for Obama:

First? Clinton's camp claims he plagiarizes their policies.

Cue Obama's camp retaliating in grandiose fashion with this statement:

“If the Clinton campaign ever bothered to check their facts before attacking, they’d know that Barack Obama’s comprehensive energy plan to create millions of new jobs was introduced a month before Senator Clinton’s, and that his infrastructure plan invests billions more than hers does to rebuild our roads, bridges, and schools. But the real problem in Washington is not a lack of good ideas, it’s the failure to come together and solve our problems because politicians are too busy scoring cheap political points just like this one.”

Honestly, Hillary and McCain are so good at making themselves look bad that Obama can just sorta sit there. Smiling.

That is why we need this man. He is no politician.

It really is too bad that the Libertarians aren't a stronger party.

it is too bad, but they are the fastest growing recognized party in the US over the past 20 yrs.

What ever happened to state's rights and personal responsibility? Now everyone is content to let the federal government control everything, just so they have someone else to blame for their troubles.

well, alot of the state's rights went out the door w/ lincoln. he expanded the federal system more than just about any president. if anything he used abolition to win the civil war and to push his own federalist policies, rather than to free the slaves just b/c it was right. most people don't know it, but the exec. order associated w/ the emancipation proclamation actually required that freed slaves behind federal lines were forced to leave the country and go to the west indies or canada. this aspect clearly wasn't enforced, but i think it does give a hint at how lincoln perceived the situation. most of the personal responsibility faded w/ the new deal programs and their social program descendants. and most of the personal liberties have been chipped away under the current administration.

hmm... i do question whether they shouldn't perhaps have this score labled as anarchist rather than libertarian, given that anarchism is essentially the logical and idealist extension of classic liberal thought. but i suppose i'll let it slide since this is the world's smallest political quiz and there's not much of a difference between the two ideologies anyway. lol.

They have much more detailed quizzes that show a solid 10 or so different ideologies, if you would prefer. That heavy of a score on those quizzes would have certainly put you in the anarchist group. I figured that our typical user wouldn't bother with a quiz over 10 questions, at least one about politics.

Anarchism is just an extreme form of Libertarianism, much like liberals to socialism and communism, and conservatives to facism.

essentially, which is why i've always been amazed by the tension between anarchists and libertarians.  it amazes me to this day that most anarchists vote w/ the left and most libertarians vote w/ the right, despite the fact that they are the two remaining bastions of classic liberal thought and have more in common w/ each other than they do w/ the rest of the dems and reps. i can understand the arguments between the two groups, but they seem rather petty given the current political situation. let the revolution happen and then decide whether we want no gov't or minimalist gov't.
