So as most of you know, I have a 360 now. Yay! *small shower of confetti*

And now I have a question/problem/dilemma/cheeseburger.


I want to get Guitar Hero III for my 360, but I've already got it for my Wii Why do I want it for the 360 as well? DLC, better online, I am becoming teh achievements whore, etc.

So my little question: Since I've already linked my Wii band to my Guitar Hero online account thingy, can I link the 360 as well, or do I have to create a new account on guitarhero.com ? Does anyone have it for more than one system and know firsthand? (if anyone has firsthand knowledge, how does it track your stats with 2 games? just curious...)

Also, while I'm at it, are the GH III wireless guitars compatible with GH II?

about transferring accounts: i dont think you can. each copy of the game has it's own code, but you can add the 360 version to your tour band.

the GH3 guitar will work with GH2. it will work with rock band too.

So I gave in (to my whoreiness, of course ) and got GHIII for my 360 today. I tried to link my 360 GH account to my already existing one where I registered my Wii and...

IT WORKED! JOY! *confetti shower*

Mystery solved, and all that jazz. I'm not sure exactly how it displays my stats yet, but I'd imagine it just combines them across both platforms. Good enough for me

btw, dont forget to d/l the free dlc for the game too.
