Remember those protests against the church of scientology? Apparently the video viewcounts have been frozen.
What's the big deal, you wonder? This prevents these videos from going into the public eye and appearing on popular listings.
Inversely, everyone could just be overreacting as Youtube is notoriously slow and shitty when it comes to updating.

I think its just what you said first. I think youtube is just freezing the view count.
The fact of the matter is privately owned websites can control what does and does not appear on their pages.
Thus, if someone feels so inclined to spread the word they're gonna have to do it through other means besides Youtube.
Such as the old fashioned way.
Ya, its just Youtube is one of the best ways to spread that kind of stuff so it might be a little tricky to get the point across without it.

Cmon, You know those sites dont even come close to matching youtube!

yeah I like watching all these videos about this matter that are saying it is a violation of freedom of speech, apparently they don't understand that youtube can do whatever they hell they want with their website.
I chose Veoh to watch most things anime like on but that's just me. But youtube is where the abridged series lye if ur more into that kinda thing.
But personally IDC about all of this, it's just all posturing on YouTube's behalf in my book anyways.
