Has anybody read Jonny got his gun by Dalton Trumbo?
I started it a few days ago, but I always wanted to read it. It's pretty intense, and Trumbo uses no commas which makes reading kind of difficult, but it is pretty good.
In another note, in the edition I have al least, it just seems like a bad idea to insult the President of the United States in the forward of someone else's book. And just remember it is a volunteer army. If your son dies, the government didn't force him into service.
